I'm New

Welcome

We are so glad that you’re planning a visit to First Baptist Church of Key Largo. We can’t wait to meet you!
For many people, the most difficult part of going to church for the first time (or the first time in a while), is the fear of the unknown. What is it going to be like? What if they ask me to do something? What should I wear?!?
We have our Sunday morning service at 9 AM and it is blended in nature. That means our music is led by a worship band that mixes more contemporary worship songs with some of the traditional hymns, though often with a new arrangement.  There is always a sermon that takes the teachings of the Bible and applies them in a relevant, practical way that can make a difference all week long.
We have a special and separate worship time just for your children.  You might want to arrive a few minutes early to get them registered and settled in. We offer a loving and safe environment with age-appropriate activities.  They’ll have a great time playing games, singing, working on craft projects and learning about the Bible.
People comes dressed for Sunday worship in a variety of ways.  You won’t see coats and ties, but are likely to see dresses, jeans, tropical print shirts, or even shorts and flip flops.  God is more interested in the heart than our outward appearance – and so are we.
Our goal is not to pack as many people in as we can, or to see how big an offering we can collect, but to introduce you to the one Person who can truly make life matter- Jesus Christ. Check us out. You’ll be glad you did.
